Lodging will be at the University of Michigan North Quadrangle Residence Hall and will be at no cost for qualifying students and postdocs.
Instructions for requesting free lodging are located under the Student/Postdoc subsidy tab. If you do not qualify for free lodging but would like to stay in the residence hall, please contact Jan Beltran.
Location
The North Quadrangle Residence Hall is located one block northwest of the “diag” on the U-M campus, and is right next to Ingalls Mall, which contains Hill Auditorium, Rackham Building, and the Michigan League.

North Quad is the University of Michigan’s first new residence hall built since 1967. North Quad opened in fall of 2010, with a combination of residence hall rooms and academic classroom space. The building has approximately 450 beds. The most common room in North Quad is a Private Single, which includes a twin bed with semi-private bath facilities. All rooms are air-conditioned, and include a linen packet at check-in (contains: towels, sheet set, pillow and blanket).
