Parking
Parking Permits
Permit parking on University campuses is limited. While a permit for a designated lot may be available for purchase it is not guaranteed. There are University visitor lots which are pay to park..
Street Parking Meters
Street parking meters cost approximately $2.20/hour between 8 am and 6 pm. Monday – Saturday. Please be advised, however, that street parking meters are scarce and parking enforcement is very strict — the fine for an expired parking meter is $10 to $20, and after several tickets, you risk the inconvenience and the expense of several hundred dollars if your car is towed. Parking tickets received are the responsibility of the owner.
Parking Garages
There are two public parking garages located within a few blocks of the North Quad Residence Hall:
- Liberty Square
510 E Washington and - Maynard
324 Maynard St.
Hourly rate is $1.20/hour; $3 flat rate entry after 3 PM M-F and all day Saturday. Must exit by 6 AM the next day and re-enter.
